Welcome to The Curated Collective

A dedicated space within Churchill Mae where artistry, intention, and individuality converge. This is where we spotlight the work of exceptional partners and independent creators who embody the values of craftsmanship, beauty, and soulful living. Each artisan in the Collective has been personally selected by our founder, Tammy York Day, for their unique ability to tell a story through their work — whether it’s a hand-hewn wooden table, a luminous oil painting, a perfectly balanced blade, or thoughtfully selected gear. The Curated Collective is more than a marketplace; it’s a celebration of creators who share our passion for meaningful design and timeless treasures.

Rodney Brewer

Rodney Brewer has spent a lifetime in service — most notably as Kentucky’s longest-serving State Police Commissioner, where he led with integrity, discipline, and a deep commitment to others. Beyond the uniform, Rodney is a man of eclectic passions and extraordinary skill. From owning classic trucks and tending to bees, to remodeling homes and crafting custom wood pieces, he approaches every pursuit with meticulous care and exacting standards. His woodwork reflects a lifetime of precision and purpose — each piece a testament to his craftsmanship and character. Churchill Mae is honored to feature Rodney as one of our inaugural partner artisans in The Curated Collective. Explore his page to discover heirloom-quality creations made with heart and hands.

Josh Bunch

Joshua David Bunch — known to many as “Spanky” — is a multimedia artist from Eastern Kentucky whose work bursts with color, rhythm, and soul. Born and raised in the now-vanished Slabtown neighborhood of Williamsburg, Josh channels a profound sense of memory, music, and faith into his art. His mixed media creations offer more than visual beauty — they are emotional landscapes drawn from childhood joy, spiritual introspection, and the vibrant but vanishing world of Appalachian life. A proud father and deeply grounded creative, Josh sees art as a sacred conversation — one that connects, heals, and reveals. Churchill Mae is proud to feature Josh as a founding member of The Curated Collective. Visit his page to step into a world shaped by gratitude, grit, and grace.
